 Wasn't paying attention. I started a batch of cider using one gallon of 100 percent blackberry juice, 1/4 cup of corn syrup, Lalvin 118 yeast and 1/2 TBLS spoon of pectic enzyme instead of 1/2 tsp. Is this going to ruin the batch or make it taste off flavor. Not sure if it is still good with all that extra in it.

I believe you mean pectic enzyme. And I'm guessing that it is the liquid and not the powder?

Looks like you used 3 times the amount needed. It should not be a problem, as pectic enzyme really has no flavor.

I have found that with the liquid pectic enzyme, 5 drops per gallon does the trick. 25 drops = 1/2 teaspoon = treatment for 5 gallons.

I just did this with a blackberry mead. Didn't read close enough and put in 1/2 tbsp of powder pectin eymznes into the musk. Hopefully this doesn't turn out bad
