Hi all.
I'm doing a biab partial mash very soon. I'm doing a light ale. this is what I am going to use:
British pale malt (2row) 3.5kg (7.7lbs)
British cara malt 250grams (.5lbs)
Flaked barley 250grams (.5lbs)
Fuggles 28grams (1 oz) 60 min
Challenger 14 grams (.5 oz) 15 min
Fuggles 28 grams (1 oz) DRY HOPPED 1 week
I'm using a 4 gallon pot and I also have a 2 gallon pot.
Approx ABV is 4.6%
My question is, do I have the right amount of grain or is this too much?
And also is 2.5 gallons of starting water too little/much?
Any help here would appreciated
Thanks.
