I bottle my homebrew, and just realized my math was incorrect, and I used about 60% of what I should have used of priming sugar. Will letting the bottles sit longer than usual before I put them in the fridge help with the carbonation?

Not really. The carbonation reaches max once sugar is consumed. If it's any consolation imo it is better under-carbonated than over-carbonated. Nothing worse than an over-carbonated beer. A lot of English style beers are carbed lower than American ales, just imagine it's an English style. Give them at least 3 weeks before refrigeration though.

Honestly I'm sure you could take the caps off and add sugar and re-cap but it would take forever to for it to carbonate after that. I'd let it be and just enjoy it for what it is at this point. I doubt it's gonna be that bad!
