I've found the perfect wiring diagram (thanks PJ!!!) and ordered all the parts except for the toggle switch to turn the element on an off. The wiring diagram I'm using is linked below...

I've double checked everything on Grainger and NKK and the toggle switch (2TPF8 - Link) for the element says it's only rated for 15A @ 250V.

Shouldn't I be using a toggle that can handle 25A since my element will be 5500W? I found another PJ diagram that uses a higher rated toggle switch (2TNY6 - Link)

I must be missing something since the first switch has been used in a number of control panel builds (from what I've read), but something in me won't let me order my last component until I get this sorted out. I've found a thread or two where this question popped up, but never found a resolution.

I saw those HD double pole switches as well the other day. Just wire them inline after the ssr and before the element, correct? Other than being bulkier than a toggle, they seem to fit the bill.

I was a little uneasy using something that stated it was rated for less amps than I knew I needed. Thanks guys for the help!!

Sorry, never saw you had a question... Yes, just wire it up after the ssr before the element outlet.
