Yeech! Suddenly my headache is much worse. :drunk:

With BMC stuff I usually reach the point of projectile reverse esophageal peristalsis before enough has been consumed(or absorbed) affect the following day. I found that out at a friend's kegger when he thought it prudent to opt for 15.5 gallons of Bug Light. Five 16 ouncers later and I was more nauseated than buzzed.

High Life is an exception, but ti still tastes like corn/rice beer.

Yuri_Rage Tomorrow I'll be hungover from...sh!t beer. I'm in Wichita Falls, TX for the weekend, and it's an utter beer vacuum.

O' Flannagain (seefresh) is in Wichita Falls, and he kegs. ;)

Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale, Several different Rogue brews (My buddy just came into town from Oregon, he lives right by Rogue...he brought a whole case of Rogue brews), Apfewlein, and Stone IPA....:D
:drunk:

Sam Adams, Miller Lite, Knob Creek and Coke, Homewine, and a shot of Jaeger (stupid, stupid, stupid). My wife's BIL came over last night. We all ended up ****ty.

Lot's of Magic Hat Notion and Hazed & Infused with a couple shots of SoCo and lime mixed in for good measure. And, Cheese, Jaeger is the the devil...

and apparently I agreed to go skydiving with this girl whose pants I was trying to get into....

That girl must have magic in her pants if you agreed to go freaking skydiving!

Lessee... Jameson's, then a bottle of red wine (split with SWMBO), then a bunch of Old Pumpculier, but I don't know how much. That's the one problem w/ kegging. Not sure how much I drink anymore. Can't count the dead soldiers the next day...

Lab is not fun at the moment. Beta-mercaptoethanol does NOT smell good w/ a hangover. Yeesh.

Just took my hangover powerdump. You wanna talk about something that smells bad!!

Vitamin B complex works AWESOME though. Since I started taking it, my hangovers disappear almost immediately and I feel great.

Started with Amber from the brewpub where I work, then 3 pints of an organic peat-smoked porter (8.5% ABV) from another local brewery, then 2 Bent Nail Pale Ales (bronze @ GABF), then I get to the point when my palate doesn't care anymore and switch to $1.50 pints of PBR.

I'm glad I don't work until 5 tonight.

44oz of Darwinian Stout, 12oz of Wee-heavy, 24oz of Shakespeare stout (for the pacman yeast...gosh), 24oz of stone-ipa (for the maybe-its-yeast sediment on the bottom...gosh).

I woke up this morning to the clackin of stirbars in flasks on my stirplates. I hadn't planned on harvesting that yeast, and don't really remember doing so. Here's to sterile technique being embedded in my brain (I hope)! :mug:

Edit: Guess I should update my sig now...

3 - 16oz of my Scottish 80 beer4.gif
4 - 16oz of my Pumpkin (Rich's Recipe) beer4.gif
1 - 16oz of my Nut Brown Alebeer4.gif
2/3 - growler of 1554beer4.gif

Started brewing at noon yesterday and the beers started flowing early as well. Sat down in the chair about 10 to try and finish watching the Red Sox whoop the Indians, but dozed off about 3 minutes later. Now to search the hangover remedies section...

Swmbo in LA.

Arizona vs Stanford football game. Tailgating and sun.

12:30p
Way more Miller Lite (yea that's what I said) than should be consumed.
Tequila shots
jello shots
4p Kick off starts. Get coke from vendor.
flask appears - drink whiskey cokes during game
Game ends AZ loses again
Head home start hitting the Hefe and Porter with friend
10:30p swmbo calls, can't communicate clearly. She hangs up on me
Friend leaves (wife had to come get him)
??:?? I Pass out

I'm hanging a bit today - had some Cherry Wheat, Grand Cru, a couple Sam Adams Black Lagers, some New Castle and some Summer Wheats.

Wife just called. I've been told I act like a 5 year old & I can't play with Mikey anymore. I told her I couldn't drink that much when I was five.

A couple pints of my amber, two can of Guiness, one Kilkenny, and one Old Speckled Hen. Had to get up just after 6 am this morning to drive my oldest to work and return the floor sander. Thankfully the beers were spread over several hours and incorporated into lots of work. No hangover this morning.

I say thankfully because in about 10 minutes I'll be firing up the pots and putting another 10 gallons in the primaries. I got real nice results on washing my Irish yeast from the Kilkenny clone. Let's see how it does in the Guinness clone.

Free Heineken from my friend's keg that we were trying to kick. We kicked it around 10pm and today its kicking us right back...

Didn't have one today, but yesterday it was Icehouse, SNPA, and a healthy dose of Bulliet. I likes me some bourbon, but man is the hangover vicious.

Weizen, Barleywine, APA, and Old Style.

Then I was woken up by my wife putting my son in bed with me at 4am. Then the dog decided that he wasn't allowed to lie next to me, only she was allowed to be touching me. All in all, I ended up with about 2" of bed space while my wife decided to sleep on our son's bed.

Wife is smart, she must know mine.

In my home the dog will always lose - I am the Alpha and the Omega.

I had 6 pints of Bodingtons Pub Ale, I was awakened by my alarm clock to the soothing sounds of Rick James..

I'm just gonna post now since I'll forget tomorrow. Buuut, sixer of Sierra Stout since SWMBO is out. I may also dabble in something else later if I'm awake. Nothing like taking the dog out at 2am, then again at 6:30am. Yaaaaay tiredness!
:drunk:

Does it get easier to not doze off when drinking? I always get sleepy unless i'm out partying.

Not in any experiments I can recall.....eh, "reading" about ;). The only thing that I found to help is adequate rest before hand and perhaps some caffiene for added "stamina." It's a losing battle if you're already tired. Alcohol can and often does disrupt sleep patterns, too. Anyone ever pass out and wake up four hours later only to be greeted by hungover/drunken insomnia? Uh huh.....

The caffiene is a double-edged sword on top of that. It's a diueretic and dehydrates your body while allowing you to stay awake to drink more which is also a diuretic and dehydrates. Makes for the mother of all bad days if the chips fall just right. Only method of damage control I know of is to stay hydrated. Likewise, reduced hangover by that method carries the risk of waking up soaked in your own urine.

Nothin but a lack of sleep. Bleh! I'm gonna fix it in about two minutes, though. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Going pretty good I must say. :cross:

It's 4:45am. My son has been up since 4, and i've been up with him. I woke up in the recliner - victim of a pass out. Wife is cozy in the nice big bed.
