Last year I planted my first Hops. 1 Cascade and 1 Wilamette. (sorry for the misspelling) Well I planted them in pots since I rent my house. During the winter time I put them in the garage. Well its still winter and the garage is cold but there has been some sun poking out. Well the little guys are starting to grow baby shoots. I dont know if its a good thing or bad. Should I cut them down or just let them grow?

Don't cut them as rhizomes only have a few nodes. If you cut you will be cutting all the bines the root will produce. Letting them grow is best

Bigger pot will help. Also you can bury deeper covering up the shoot if it is just emerging. Keep them a little colder will slow down growth also
