Well it was my first AG, so not being aware of the hot break I tipped it all into the fermenter, I figured that I was going to get a little more precious brew.

Now my fermenter has two inches of hops in the bottom

Will this hurt my beer?

My biggest worry is that I am going to get a slug of hops up the dip tube in my keg. I hope this won't happen, it was pellets, so its pretty fine.

Cheers Mick

Edit: woops that should be cold break, shouldn't it...

It won't hurt the brew. You may end up with less finished product due to the large amount of trub but thats all.

Secondary for a few weeks if it really concerns you. That will help any unwanted cloudiness producing particles to precipitate out and you rack of clean beer to bottle bucket/keg.
