No. Well, I guess not simpler... Just a more usual ingredient than kumquats. HA. Actually, this was the first time I have seen this ingredient in a Saison.
 
Sounds interesting, but no.

Speaking of Jackie O's, I got to check out their barreling room and they have a pawpaw wheat in a tequila barrel. Look up pawpaw if you don't know what that is. Native fruit to Ohio. Tastes kinda like overripe bananas. Kinda neat.

Heard of the fruit before but never. Knew that. That's awesome. I would love to try it; ) I thinks a tequila saison is in order. Lucky you! So close to an awesome brewery. You think you could just soak oak spirals in tequila?

Maize saison (or... wait for it...Maizon!)

Now I have to go brew a maize saison and call it Maizon Deriere (after The Simpsons episode). Darn youse!
