K, can we agree on some sort of criteria for when people forfeit their turn to throw a picture up?
Last night (Saturday night/Sunday morning) I got the right answer right before putting HBT away for the night, and then before I even woke up — and therefore before even learning I won — bottlebomber posted the next pic. And he DID give it about 12½ hours, although the understanding had been to wait 24 hours. This particular example doesn't bug me much, but I've actually been sitting on a picture for a while now (granted, not a very good one) and I seem to be the only person who is having my turn repeatedly hijacked.
What's the rush to get this game to the point where it's old and stale and everything is a repeat

? It's going to happen sooner or later, but everybody (including me) seems to be way too damn impatient! Heck, the original rules called for only one hint - and one guess - every
24 hours... one guy recently was so impatient that he just gave away the answer after s whole 6 hours!
For instance - not one, but TWO guys were unaware of the rules and just went right ahead and posted a picture. But at they just had no idea that the winner gets to post next, so even those weren't nearly as annoying as just a few days ago when heferly waited all of *1 HOUR* before declaring me too slow, and posting his own pic! And then of course there's a whole bunch of much less extreme examples (like the one I originally mentioned) that I've been fine with individually - bottlebomber's been one of the cooler guys to play - but when combined with everything else (and the fact that it seems to happen almost exclusively to me) gets a bit frustrating at times.
Like I said, I'm an impatient myself, so if people want to kill the game faster by giving people 12 hours instead of 24, I'm fine with that. But I just want it to be clear... so are we going to agree on 12 hours? Also, it'd be nice if people spoke up when somebody is clearly out of line, either for reasons mentioned hefe, or something such as a person throwing out a way-too broad guess (eg, "cider, lager, etc), as the person whose turn it is can't even address it without giving out a major hint that they might not want to we're not playing 20 questions
I apologize for the length of the post, though the ironic thing is that the people who will have the biggest problem with that are probably the ones who need to read it the most!
