*TIME SENSITIVE* Wyeast pack opened before popping the activator

So i gave my brother-in-law the wyeast package to pop the activator (thought he'd have a good time just hitting it) instead he just opened the package (YOU HAD ONE JOB!!). Any ideas on whether or not it will work still in the 3 hours when my beer gets done brewing? Please quick answers would be great.

Seal the pack with tape so you can spray it with Starsan to sanitize. It will still be good.
Will the one pack have enough viable yeast cells, without a starter, for your brew?

It should i really have never had too many problems with it in the past. I can usually let it sit a couple hours before starting then its good by the timeI need it.

I accidentally forgot to break open the smack pack once. The beer was fine, it just took a few additional hours before fermentation was noticable.

I use this pitch rate and starter size calculator. Works well. Calculator estimates the viable yeast cells remaining in a pack or vial of yeast based on the production date.

Just want to update, added the yeast and fermentation has been going great. So if you open a pack prior just make sure you tape it shut and then sterilize the outside of the package.
