I picked up a used freezer chest for cheap a little while back and it worked great for a time, but now the compressor is not cycling properly. It will click like it wants to start but then shuts off before actually running. If I leave it unplugged for a while it will start right up no problem, get cold, then start doing the same thing when it needs to cycle on again. I am thinking the compressor is overheating and shutting itself down. Has plenty of ventilation. SO I think it is time to get a new one, and if I fix this one maybe I can use it as a fermentation chamber, or scrap it.

I was wondering what brands tend to work out the best for people when you made your kegerators? I am thinking about going with something in the 15 cubic foot range, but could go larger.
