I am attempting a pumpkin spiced ale for the fall. I plan on brewing this afternoon but have re written my grain bill several times. Any opinions will be appreciated.

7 lbs 2 row
1 lb 6 row
1 lb Carapils
1 lb Crystal 80
.5 lb Munich
.5 lb Honey Malt
1 lb torrified wheat

spice mix.

.25 lb molasses

.5oz Magnum at 60 min

yeast? 1056 or 1272?

I would focus on making whatever style of beer you already know tastes good. Pumpkin beers can be made from lots of different styles. Molasses can be good in small amounts. I think the more important factor is your spice mix.
