Is that really so much of a deal breaker for you? Sure, you would have to buy a set of connectors for them, but $25 for two kegs is still a hell of a deal!

They are also a larger diameter. Which means they won't fit where my other kegs do. My kegerator will hold 6 kegs, BARELY.

So, they would be $25, plus about $11 per post (shipped). Which comes to about $34.50 each, so it's not really a deal.

Unless you already use pinlocks, in which case it IS a deal.

ahh.. kegerator constraints. I understand that issue.

My entry into kegging came after I found a good deal on craigslist for a 5# tank, regulator, and a pinlock keg for something like $75. I had no problems with the pin-lock fitting into the gigantic fridge in the garage and ended up owning a couple more over the next couple of years, in addition to some ball-lock kegs.

But, then I moved the kegs out of the fridge in the garage and into a small kegerator in the dining room and the pin-locks won't fit in there at all. So, I'm sitting on a couple of pin-locks and connector sets that I can't really use right now. :D

Put them on craigslist as ball locks :D
