Those that use Mr Beer for small batch

I'm going to brewing some small batches and picked up a mr beer fermenter and bottling wand. Question for those that use these- I understand that the lid isn't secured so how long do you primary? I'm looking to go straight to bottle. I know mold can be an issue with long term no airlock.

The lid has small slits in it that allow gases to escape. I've not used one in awhile but I've gone 3 weeks and a few days in them with no trouble.

I did five batches in mine and went three weeks on all five of them with no issues at all.
