those who are familiar with ingredients, will this make a decent lager possibly?
i have some ingredients at the house and this is what i came up with

10 gallon batch

17 lbs of 2 row
3lbs of vienna malt
.50 citra hops @60 mins
1 oz of cascade hops @30 mins

wlp810 yeast

If it were me I might use the citra as a flavor or aroma addition and the cascade to bitter, but it looks like you're going for a low level of bitterness and hop flavor so I think you'll be okay.

I think that recipe will make a nice, light, bready lager. Just be sure to make a HUGE starter, control ferm temp, and give the beer at least a few good weeks to clear up at a cold temperature.

Yea ita gonna be at basement temps. Which in january is anywhere from 45 to under 60 which is why i went with the wlp810. I dont want a ton of hop flavor. Ipa beers have me very sick of hoppy beers because every brewing company seems to make an ipa now. Its becoming a trend it seems
