2.5 gals of an Extract Scottish..
after 2 weeks in primary ..smelled great -
Racked straight Scottish brew to 1 Gal carboy -
1/2 Gal racked with a vanilla bean - (left) shown above-

1 gal 'brown bottled', after dry hopped and not looked at.-- just yet..:mad:

What is pictured sat for an extra week after 'touching it ' as explained above..
Can't see what I did wrong,,,,

Smell is acetyl or di-acetyl and pungent sweet and badly → offffff :confused:
Was only 2.5 gals →but it looks like its headed for the sink...
any thoughts besides. yuck?

Don't think I've ever SEEN this till after tasting a bad brown bottle....
