Well, it's about time I registered! I'd just like to start by saying THANK YOU to this forum, for I have two batches under my belt thus far and couldn't have learned the things I have without you guys.
So this is a Chinook IPA (from extract). I waited until fermentation was complete, gave it a few extra days to clean up, and then threw the dry hop pellets right into the carboy for 7 days. I just transferred it to the fridge to cold crash it, and I just had a quick question!
These are just yeast rafts, right?
This is the best picture I could get. I took 20 minutes after transferring it into the fridge.
Also, do I need to take any precautions with the airlock now that it is in the fridge? Or since it's a glass carboy do I not have to worry about it sucking the sanitizer in?
Thanks everyone, and nice to meet you all.
