Just got a new SS conical fermenter, but doesn't have a thermometer. Should I get a hole drilled for a weldless type or have fittings welded on. What type of fittings would I need. Thanks

You can use a 1/4" NPT or 1/2" NPT back threaded thermometer. A weldless type can be mounted later on if you decide to weld in a coupling or nut.

Or you can use a compression fitting for a probe type thermometer.
