A few times a year we cut Dan loose to brew whatever he chooses. Always handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the adventurous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make no promises to ever brew this style again.

This boss Cow rules with 8.5% ABV and an Original Gravity of 18 degrees Plato. Fine Wisconsin and Czech malts step out with hand chosen Willamette and Yakima Valley hops joined up with French and German varieties. Fresh coriander and sweet orange peel kick up Dan’s special Farmhouse Ale. Bottle fermented and hazy as an early meadow morning, expect Spotted Cow Grand Cru to be an assertively quaffable Imperial edition of Wisconsin’s favorite local brew.

Imperial Spotted Cow....huh

Good read from the beer baron on Central Waters and Three Sheeps:

"And coming in December are bombers of an aged barleywine with the tentative name Vintage Y2K. Mollica did us the favor of aging this beer, a style that fares particularly well in the cellar, for two years, a duration I've found to be a barleywine's sweet spot. Much of the batch from which Vintage Y2K was born was bottled as Kosmyk Charlie's Y2K Catastrophe Ale in 2014, Mollica said, but this portion was held back and aged in steel tanks (rather than the wood barrels responsible for Bourbon Barrel Barleywine)."

much excite

i've still got some Y2K with the green sticker on it. wonder how that's doing.
