******* rain. But I got my beer and I met powz87 so can't complain. But the wife (mule) said she doesn't think we'll make it on Saturday. ******* mule.
That ******* powz87 was there!? I was there with 2 dogs for him to wrassle with and he didn't even let me know! Prick!

So will all the dogs and the Mrs so say hi you prick! :) And we didn't show up until around 11:30 today.
That's why. I had to work today. Same as tomorrow. I'll be in and out hopefully. Tell her to text me if she's there early. I'd love to see her and the dogs

Was driving and missed the Hudson recommendation.
Ended up hitting Coffee something in eau Claire and got the NG I needed but no TG. Ah well. Spent enough already and I haven't hit Chicago yet.

Dats it mane.
Oh yeah. Now I remember why I picked that place... TG brew locator. Of course I didn't see any TG, but I actually don't think I looked very hard. Stupid.
Like you, I also stopped through there due to the TG locator and all I found amongst their odd selection was a Dorothy bomber. I asked and they said they cancelled their deliveries of TG.
I did come across a PHC 7 buried on one of the bottom shelves but it was way out of my price range.
Are you going through Madison today? There's plenty of shops to check around there.

Usually stashed away in the back corner/in an unremarkable spot in the cooler next to like Southern Tier Mokah or something. Stop there every time on my way to MN to fish. New location is pretty nice....made some quality sandwiches last year.

This is exactly where that lonely Dorothy was.
The coffee and baked goods were excellent!

Good Morning!

That sucks if they stopped dem shipments. Was nice grabbing a couple of Sues to take out on the lake. :(.
Yeah, the girl I asked even asked what looked to be the manager. And it would make sense since they were lean on TG but the 3-4 other places we stopped using the TG locator had a pretty decent selection.
Do you go through Hudson on your way up? Definitely hit them up if so. They were flush with them TG goodies.

Usually hit Eau Claire and head up 53. Cabin is on Pelican about an hour from the canuck border.

Tried the new R&D with lurchingbeast courtesy of some folks behind us in line on Saturday morning. Bright lemon acidity, mild funk, limited carbonation and a fair bit of residual sweetness. I think it needs some conditioning time before I crack one.

Was surprised how low key it was at 7am on a Saturday, and I wonder if it's an omen for the Great Taste / Octoberfest releases.

Also Dan & Deb Carey are probably the best people in beer. Unlike many other brewery owners they seem to be generally thrilled with the turnout from beer folks at the releases and love to chat about almost everything New Glarus.

Spot on with everything. They were pouring bottles of it at the fest after the release and they had to have gone through a lot of cases cuz it lasted the whole time and I saw a lot of people asking for it.
I drove up expecting a ton of people yesterday but couldn't believe how relaxed everything was. Barely had to stand in line since they started selling at 9.

^^^this. Dan talked to me for 15 mins in the rain on Friday. He said that he's not thrilled with the carbonation and he doesn't think it will get to much better. Other than that it's ready to drink now.

Also who leaves their garbage on a table? There are plenty of garbage cans around the area.
