Oh ok.

I can think of worse ways to be nursed back to health. :ban:

I can think of a better way - how about a green-eyed Limey with a fake southern accent?

If Rick did shoot someone then who did he shoot? Did he shoot Pete and kill him or did he shoot Reg to stop him from changing? Deanna just said "do it" not Kill him. No one wants to see a loved one change.

Interesting theory that maybe Rick shot Reg instead of Pete. Problem with Rick shooting either as I see it is that Deeana was closely holding Reg's body, Abraham was pinning Pete, and I don't see that Rick gave either Deeana or Abraham time to get out of the way / change position for a clean shot.

I still submit that we are all being tricked, Rick has decided that he is NOT an executioner (especially at Deeana's behest), Rick and Morgan get to continue being BFF's, Rick decides to exile Pete (or try to jail him, and he escapes), and that (as someone previously surmised) Pete leads the wolves to the doorstep. And in the meantime Rick gets himself some well-earned Jessie (he already needs another shave, at least).

One more thing: if someone other than Michonne ever gets ahold of that sword, and you are a white-haired / wise old man / voice of reason type character, you better guard your neck.

If Deanna asked Rick to shoot Reg that would mean that she has knowledge that everyone turns after they die. It doesn't seem like her group has that much experience in that situation so I wouldn't see her asking Rick to shoot him instead of Pete.

Either way, Rick's going to get a butt chewing by the newly-Zen Morgan.

I was really expecting for Glen to take out that ******* only to disclose that he had been bitten in that zombie dog pile. It seemed like they really were building it up to kill off a main character in the finale. Glad they didn't though.

Pretty much exactly the way it went down in the comics. The characters are changed up a bit from the comic but if's the same story. Rick shoots and kills Pete.

I assumed it was Reg. But they talked about Pete on the talking dead. Do those people know everyone turns? Most assume bitten die then turn.

I don't think Deanna knows that yet. That's why I was pretty sure she meant for Rick to put a bullet in Pete.

I like the spin about shooting Reg instead of Pete. I could see that happening, but don't think it did. I've also committed myself to believing that everyone knows by now that you turn when you die. Even the Alexandrites lost people, and they took in people at least once before.

First aid, even really good first aid, and actual doctoring are two different things. Infections are real and can be a real bitch. Knowing the difference between two or more conditions that present themselves in a very similar fashion can be the difference between life and death, even in a non TWD world.

Still though, a bad doctor or a doctor gone bad can be worse than no doctor. Look at what the doctor at the hospital did to frame Beth.

Screw doctors, anyone can open a band-aid to cover a boo-boo or administer 3 ounces of whiskey for pain/infection. What Alexandria really needs is a Meteorologist. Not just a pretty TV weather-gal either one with an actual scientific background and an associated degree. I'm not sure how they have survived this long without a Meteorologist.

Is the meteorologist supposed to predict when a sh*t storm is coming?

The trailer for the new season of the Walking Dead hit today and it's a doozy. Looks like the "Rick and the Alexandrians" plot line will continue, at least for a little while longer, with the added twist that Morgan seems to be on their side. Beyond that, looks like Daryl's about to have a showdown with the wolves and a lot of the Alexandrians are gonna die. Good times!

Damn that trailer is intense! 3 months is a long time to wait.

They always cut those trailers in such a way as to fool the viewer so it won't play out exactly as it appears but damn that's an awesome trailer.

It's hard for me to get excited about this whole theme again.

This silly trailer just shows more of the same. We simply get let down again & again.

There is so much potential here, but each time in the past it has shown me to be a waste to anticipate anything.

Sure I'll watch it. It's better than 90% of the crud they put on the tube, but the most fun I had was torrenting the whole season at the end and doing a binge evening/weekend.

Now that idea has potential ! :ban:

Who is this "we" you speak of? I haven't loved everything they've done but overall I think it's great and have never felt let down. IMO last season was the best since season 2 which remains my favorite season. I for one am looking forward to the show's return as well as Fear The Walking Dead next month.

I saw it, I'm not 100% sure it has my interest, but I'll take a look at the very least.

The new trailer for The Walking Dead has hit the internet. It tells us absolutely nothing about the new season, but it looks cool and I dig the song.

How about actually showing something, just a little teaser, on the preview.

Is your season open so devoid of action you can spare a little for the preview?

How bout this - write in one throw away scene just for the preview.

I like that video.

I'll be straight up honest.....I'm much more into the soap opera aspect of the show, and i love the strength of the characters in it.

Fight scenes and zombies are a secondary element for me.

I agree completely. The producers of the show spent so much time developing story and characters because if you care about the characters you'll keep watching the show. I would watch a show with people bashing in zombie heads for an hour one time and that would be more than enough for me.

The Walking Dead returns this Sunday, anyone else pumped for the premier? The sad thing is, I may miss it and not be able to watch until later in the week. :(

Really? Nothing?

I was just heading this way...also surprised at no reactions yet.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, but why not try to destroy the walkers while they were still contained in the quarry? Why pick the plan with the most moving parts and potential complications?
