Hey all, Chicago guy here headed to Killington VT for a work trip and need good beer so I don't kill my coworkers and bosses for our "team building" weekend. Looks like HT is out of the question as I won't have 2 hours to drive each way up north and Lawson's/HF look too far as well.
Here's my ask, any hope of finding Lawson's sip of sunshine/HT or any other great shelf beers I can find in the area or in a drive u from Shelton CT? Got a car, but will be limited on my hunting so just curious if any good bottle shops or chains in Killington area. Just looking for tasty beer I can't get in IL.
Thanks in advance! And if anyone's in Killington and wants to trade for BCS I got like 60 bottles so hit me up! Peace
If you're coming up 91, the Brattleboro Co-op is a good stop for beers and other items. It's one of my favorite VT Co-ops.
Get off 91 at Rockingham and take 103 North. You'll go through Chester and Ludlow, both of which have pretty good beer stores. After Ludlow, get on 100N and that will take you right into Killington. Should be less than two hours from Brattleboro, including stops if you take the scenic route.
