Looks like I'll be staying near the Walmart Supercenter on N Cockrell Hill Rd. Google maps says Community is 7 miles/10 min away via car.

Chic Fila is near by, Imma smash that too.

You're not too far from the Oak Cliff area which has some of the better restaurants in Dallas (Lucia, Mesa, Hatties, Boulevardier) and some of the best tacos (Morales, Los Torres, El Si Hay). And I know that air isn't a fan, but I thought Small Brewpub was very legit with really good beers, cocktails and food. Smoke and Ten Ramen aren't far from there too.

All those restaurants in Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts are very awesome for expense account/per diem dining. Stellar food and tremendous bang for the buck.

And if you end up in Bishop Arts, Eno's has a small but well curated draft list. There's always something there that surprises me whenever I randomly drop by.

Selling my Frigidaire Chest Freezer w/ temp controller if anyone is interested. $200 for the whole setup including a Johnson analog temp controller and Eva Dry dehumidifier (to control moisture). If you buy it, I'll throw in "The Keene" story free of charge. ;)

****** pic, but this is it. It has a few more beer stickers. They can be easily removed. This is the Frigidaire 9.05 cubic foot model seen here. http://www.lowes.com/pd_637394-2251-FFFC09M1QW_1z11pkf+1z140t3__?productId=50272313&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1&currentURL=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&page=1&facetInfo=Frigidaire

If storing bottles upright, I've fit upwards of 100 bottles. If storing sideways, I've fit 65-70 bottles of lambic+a Jester King case of beer+ there's an elevated hump inside that I fit about 15-20 more bottles upright.

tempting...but I don't have room for a 3rd kegerator setup. :(

Glad I don't have to deal with traffic as I teach 7 miles from home.
I'd like to live on the west side but inside 6. All that oil takes me 30 mins to get past. After that it opens up. Just makes me spend 2hrs at the gym to fight back the beer weight.

I'd look at Spring Branch area if you're in the $250k-$400k range. That's Bunker Hill to the Beltway just north of i10.

Started at common table. At moth now. Had ba ten fidy, sucaba, black Betty, freik, black crack, petrus 50/50, yellow rose, Rubaes, and temptress. (Most tasters)

Dallas does not suck. Either bar would be best in bay area imo.

If community didn't have fail hours Id be there now.

Thank you all for the info. Would bang all of your recommendations again.
