When is signup for memberships?Anyone interested in going in half-half on the Rare Barrel membership? It's $300 total, and I'm fairly sure I can acquire the services of a previous trader as a trustee. Let me know if you're interested in going splitsies.

Why offer to split then immediately say never mind?

Are the leftovers still $30 a bottle? If you get a price break on extra bottles, it could be worth it.Because I'm unsure of what I want to do. It's 10 beers total, with the opportunity to purchase extra leftovers. That is $30 a bottle...
Do other cellar reserves do that? I don't see why they would? I'd still be in it at $30 a bottle. IDGAF. Rare Barrel is tasty stuff man. I pay only slightly more per Cantillon Lou Pepe variantAre the leftovers still $30 a bottle? If you get a price break on extra bottles, it could be worth it.
Well, are there extras included in that $300 price? Shirts? Jackets? Glassware? Facehugs?Do other cellar reserves do that? I don't see why they would? I'd still be in it at $30 a bottle. IDGAF. Rare Barrel is tasty stuff man. I pay only slightly more per Cantillon Lou Pepe variant

I'm just too lazy to click a link. lol.
I'm guessing individual bottles would cost less than $30 then.... since you've got a growler ($10), 2 pieces of glassware ($20) and 10% off for the year (???) and exclusivity worked into the price. But I could be wrong.Cost - $300 (+tax), non-refundable
- Ten 750 mL bottles of sour beer (our choice)
- First right to purchase most bottle releases online
- 10% discount on all purchases in tasting room and online (excluding memberships)
- One custom growler
- Two pieces of custom glassware
- Membership ID card
- First right of acceptance for 2016 membership
- Option to pick-up beer at brewery, ship within California (at an additional cost), or assign a trustee
True. I was forgetting that other stuff and just basing it off the total...Either way, I already have a trustee lined up. So now it's going to come down to "do I feel like going solo on this, or 50/50>".I'm guessing individual bottles would cost less than $30 then.... since you've got a growler ($10), 2 pieces of glassware ($20) and 10% off for the year (???) and exclusivity worked into the price. That sounds good. I should make my decision by then as well. Let me know.BusinessSloth I my be going splitsies with a guy in cali. If that falls through is be interested in sharing with ya. He said he would let me know by Monday.
Also I believe I remember seeing last year the extra bottles for sale went for 18-22$ just FYI.
I'll be getting one (hopefully) and have a trustee in SF. The growler allows you to go fill it, but doesn't cover the cost of a growler fill, which isnt cheap. Rare barrel bottles retail like 18-20ish, and the 10% covers all purchases of other bottles, you can buy any of their releases on their website and they will hold them at the brewery until you, or your trustee picks it up. They said they would hold all beer until March 31st 2016 though, so in theory you could have them hold on to the 10 special release bottles, as well as everything you buy during the year, and then fly out there with some suitcases too.Cost - $300 (+tax), non-refundable

BTW, that custom growler allows you to get a fill of a designated draft only beer every week. Maybe the 10% discount applies to extra bottles you buy?
I saw that. Totally baller. I guess your trustee can't get you growler fills though?I'll be getting one (hopefully) and have a trustee in SF. Was living in Sf when they first started up and thought about doing their founders club. Didn't. Much regret.
Anyone with your growler can get the fills, according to their site. I think someone asked more about it in the comments on that page. I asked some Q's too, hopefully I hear back in the next few days.I saw that. Totally baller. I guess your trustee can't get you growler fills though?![]()
Trustee can totally get your growler fills. In fact anyone in possession of the growler can fill it. Trustee can't get the discount on bottles, that's the only negative thing for them. I offered to pay for shipping labels and give then the occasional beer from Jester king and they were happy to helpI saw that. Totally baller. It's the one beer that I must get if I see it on a tap list.I haven't even had a chance to try it on draft yet! Was super stoked to try it on Saturday, but the bottle share definitely distracted me.
Same here. Only time I passed it up recently was when D&T had Lillikoi kepolo on tap. Tasted that and just kept drinking that cause it was awesome. Considering grabbing a growlers but its like $24 for a 32 ounce fill so that's pretty steep. It's the one beer that I must get if I see it on a tap list.
