Same here. Only time I passed it up recently was when D&T had Lillikoi kepolo on tap. Tasted that and just kept drinking that cause it was awesome. Considering grabbing a growlers but its like $24 for a 32 ounce fill so that's pretty steep.
Supposedly it's being packaged next year.

Apparently I won tickets to the Texas Craft Brewers Fest.... so I'll be there for at least a bit on Saturday. I wasn't planning on it... but, ya know, free.

Anybody else going? I might have an extra ticket if my wife decides that she doesn't wanna go. Ha!

Anyone in Texas want to join me and another TB member for a lambic whale tasting in December? I know these posts are douchey, but I'm out of the loop and don't know who the cool kids with the rare lambic/AWA bottles are anymore... Especially if they're not from Austin. We would be opening things along the lines of Blauw, Framboos, A&T, and such. We're looking for a few people that can provide things along the same line or possibly BA stout whales (BA DLs/KBBS). If you're interested, shoot me a message and I can give you some more details.

I'm guessing individual bottles would cost less than $30 then.... since you've got a growler ($10), 2 pieces of glassware ($20) and 10% off for the year (???) and exclusivity worked into the price. But I could be wrong.

Just for reference for y'all, the costs this year if you would have bought every bottle offered online have been thus:

$327 - membership (taxes are added to everything)
$19.62 - SKUs Me (one bottle)
$39.24 - Shadows of their Eyes (two bottles)
$39.24 - Proportional Response (two bottles)
$39.24 - Consigliere (two bottles)
$29.43 - Fields Forever (one bottle)
$47.09 - Sirius Black (two bottles)
$29.43 - On the Shoulders of Giants (one bottle)
$61.80 - Sourtooth Tiger (three bottles)

So $632.09 so far, for 24 bottles. That comes out to about $26.33 per bottle.

Yeah I made the call to pass on this membership. Too much trouble to have 2 beer club memberships at one time (already have De Garde Keepers 2015). Gonna drop some $$$ on lambic & gueuze whales instead. 1994 Cantillon here I come.

That said, I've already renewed for next year. Yummmm.

But yeah um. 1994 Cantillon? I can't even imagine what that would cost.

Texas is boring without Compton25

I noticed a Brouwerij De Ranke beer is gonna be on tap at JK this weekend....

Did we get De Ranke when I wasn't paying attention? I had their Kriek last weekend and it was outta this world.

Brought in super recently by Flood. From what I heard they had to make a snap decision in terms of whether or not to get it out so they haven't really publicized it yet. I do know that it's pretty limited and may be a while before we get a resupply.

Not to mention the XX Bitter is absolutely fantastic.

Pirate Bomb has landed in Dallas. Looks like Specs Walnut Hill (1/person) and the Whole Foods Park (3/person) both have it right now. Lonestar selling at 6 tonight. Seems like it is going for 11.99+tax. If you're in Texas Let's Talk Craft Beer, you would probably know this.

Guess that Pirate Bomb is flying off the shelves. WF Park Lane is apparently out already and so is Addison.

Dallas folks, Lone Star is having a tasting with Four Corners tonight @ 5 PM. They're also releasing Pirate Bomb at 6 PM.

Anyone from Austin or Dallas driving up to Oklahoma next month for Prairie's 2nd anniversary party?

Yes.
Step into my square.
Perpendicular to the square, we stay gold like Flair, escape from your dragon's lair.

Has anyone noticed how heavily moderated the SW forum is on that other poopy site? Are all the regional forums that scrutinized? I swear 80% of my posts get removed. Do they (F2brewers) hate Texas or what? Someone should inform him it is not a state with which to be messed.
