Also Alex , you are pretty familiar with the JK facility by this point I would assume.

Do any of these bottles still exist anywhere on the facility?

I think these were just mock ups. Jester King has only released 750ml and 500ml bottles from everything I can find.

Notice on those bottles there was a plain IPA listed. I think they toyed with that logo and then went totally different direction.

FYI, I think he wants the logo version of these...

Rob, I can't tell if you're being facetious or not, but those are the smaller stemware being served at the brewery for 4oz pours and are not available for sale. The larger version of those glasses used for 8oz pours are the ones for sale with the logo.

Rob is just being "fecetious"

I thought they started selling the big long stemmed glasses with logos. Like the ones at AR first release.

Those held far more than 8oz. Probably more like 16-22oz.

You are right, but the photo you posted is of different glasses. There are three glass sizes at Jester King, not including the old stemware glass that is sold but is no longer used for pours.
  1. The smaller sized stemware holds maybe 8oz and is for 4oz pours. The photo you posted is of this glass.
  2. The next size up is similar in appearance to the smaller glass but holds more than 16oz and is used for 8oz and 12oz pours. It is this glass that is for sale with a logo. I know it holds more than 16 ounces because I poured an entire bottle of AR into one.
  3. The largest size glass is for 16oz pours, but it doesn't look the same as the other two glasses. It's more like a short stubby goblet.
Every glass poured in the taproom is about twice the capacity as the pour itself.

I was just about to mention the super mega rare OG JK pint glass. That right there is a treasure. The small stemware glass should be for sale, I know they were trying to phase those out. And I imagine they're still available if it's on the website.

I didn't see the small stem glass this weekend...

I did buy 2 more of the newer stemmed glasses for trades though.

Man-ginas. That's why.

Can anyone tell me when this jester king glass was for sale? I've never seen it and REALLY want one. I <3 JK glassware. Could also use a regular stemware if anyone wants to pick it up for me. Can trade some lambic, if and when my box gets here from Belgium. Damn USPS.
the weekend of the 29th sloth. wish I woulda bought more than one.

p.s. that prop was amazing, loved the rye aspect of it

I had a good time at JK before going to the Alamo Bowl. Ron led a tour for about an hour, explaining JK brewing philosophy, the history of brewing, why they barrel age, etc. It looks like the construction is coming along slowly. I was happy to see the cement down for new bathrooms up where the porta potties have been. The brew tank board showed a Bier de Miel in the tanks, amongst other things, including Trois Dames/Crooked Stave.

Also got to make the visit to Freetail, sadly missing Yo Soy, but enjoyed La Muerta on tap.

1. Who here is from the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
2. Who here will be in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the Final Four (Weekend of April 5)?
3. Who wants to drink with me?
