I think it's fantastic as well. 2 more bottles left and then I'm done with them :( I'll probably drink them soon.

Not until another batch is brewed. And IF that happens it won't be until late this year. They do have some very very awesome stuff coming soon though, including what I think will be there best sour yet; cherries! I don't want to hype it too much, but it was incredible when I had it a couple of months ago. It could have changed quite a bit from small batch to large scale production and over time, so I won't hype it too much until I have it again.

I thought speaking about Cherry was verboten?

The mezcal-barrel aged beer sounds amazing, by the way.

It's not something I would put out on BA but I like the people over here. Besides, that site is wack. I don't understand why people still use it. Some of you SW folks just need to make the full transition.

This site got less active once the GrumpyOldTroll LIF/BIF ended.
I'm kind of tired of how the other place has turned into beer hunter, where 80% of the SW forum posts are about where a certain beer is. We're all guilty in asking at least a few times, but really, it seems to have gotten worse since I started reading/posting in the SW forum last year. Still, some of the dialogue is good and bottle share announcements are nice.

People bitching about buying is funny, I won't post where to buy and when something releases anymore.
I hope you're not describing what I posted in such a manner.
There's a difference between A) people posting where things are and helping others, which you and others do, B) The site being overrun with ~80% of posts being about where to get new beer X. If people go to a few bottle shares a year, which are crucial for building community, they will probably get to try what they want or something better.

I get that if BA was only bottle release/location info, it'd still help others. But why has it become the overwhelming topic of discussion? E.g. the La Vie thread has been some good banter. But The Noir thread is 200+ posts of where is BEER.rar.

And for the record, you have brought a few bottles to me, which I appreciate. But if you weren't able to, I'd still want to talk with you over some beer. I get the feeling it's not so for some other people (people not on TB... yet).

Sorry wasn't aimed at you, just my general view towards random people that bitch on BA, then apologize a few posts later. I wish people would just say what they want without fear, if you're gonna say something, say it. I'll never understand why people are worried about what another person whom they've never met thinks about them.

The only reason I even frequent the other site is because the SW region on this one is pretty inactive most of the time. I probably should start participating in the general discussions and off-topic section more often.

Where's my beer!

Sadly that's pretty much what I use that site for. Not for anything advocating beer. Just a beer finder. lol

I was theorizing that JK will re-ferment the coolship beer with cherries, apricots, or peaches. Those seem the 3 most logical choices. I want to say cherries because Jester King Kriek rustles my jimmies.

Man-ginas. That's why.

Can anyone tell me when this jester king glass was for sale? I've never seen it and REALLY want one. I <3 JK glassware. Could also use a regular stemware if anyone wants to pick it up for me. Can trade some lambic, if and when my box gets here from Belgium. Damn USPS.

I remember Jeff saying that the initial coolship batch wasn't looking good when I talked to him at F&S3. An authentic JK kriek is probably a little ways away.

Those JK glasses are available for sale right now. Or at least they were the weekend of Dec 28 when I was last there. If I go again soon, I'll hook you up with one

I would say Kriek go away... I want a coolship apricot beer. I want a Fou Foune Clone I could take home in mass.... I mean Fou Foune is pretty much the best sour ever made...
The best? I dunno man. Try a West Ashley. I'm getting wet just thinking about it. The wine barrel is what really seals the deal on that beer.
