Those are actually legit suggestions. Belching Beaver is surprisingly good, despite their ridiculous branding. They’ve turned their sours around in the past couple of years due to Peter, and their core/seasonal draft offerings are very enjoyable. Burgeon makes very solid beer as well, although they primarily focus on hazy **** (and make a great grisette).
All of that said, you should really just do Churchill’s, Bagby, and pizza port. If you have to cut one of those, I’d cut Bagby (you’ve been there before). Churchill’s will have the best taplist and pizza Port will have the best variety of in-house beers.
What weekend are you around? Ari and I are going to be in LA this weekend and then a couple weeks later for Woodshop but would happily meet up for a beer if schedules allow.
