I went to that "high end" Taco Bell in Vegas and it was a ******* abomination. Awful food, except they have alcoholic Mountain Dew slurpees.

Heading over to Resident Brewing in the next half hour or so to try some beers. If anyone is in the downtown area and wants to stop by, look for the fat guy in the blue Garagiste meadery shirt.

Wait, someone was trashing this Local place a few pages ago? What's the problem? Good atmosphere and energy, lots of people hanging out drinking beer and having a good time, sports on but not all TVs in your face like a BWW or whatever. Also like the "two layout" approach with the back bar area being more of a brewery tasting room feel. Sure the music is a touch loud but whatever.

That. And Council's from the other day. Belching Beaver did one with that Texas brewery I've never heard of. Might of been one or two more I can't remember.

My buddy works there. It’s called Pinthouse Pizza and it’s literally Pizza Port Texas.

Some basically no-nothing brewery out of San Antonio, TX. I only started hearing of them because of an issue where PureProject went there to do ...something (I can't recall what, but it wasn't a collab) then produced a beer with the same name and same recipe. Basically stealing the recipe and name. I will see if I can find the info on it over on BA.

Edit: OK, found some links and found some screenshots since PP deleted a lot of the back and forth since it was on their FB event page back in Dec. of 2016.

CES was cool. Didn't get to see much stuff, but some companies have some incredible tech coming out. Keep an eye out for Creative Labs - they're about to rise from the ashes of their Soundblaster past and come out with some legit mind-blowing audio equipment.

One thing I love about great beer cities like San Diego is that even in the touristy downtown areas like around the convention center there's a lot of random spots with solid taplists. Makes it really easy to grab a beer while doing some work during free time.
