Wait, someone was trashing this Local place a few pages ago? What's the problem? Good atmosphere and energy, lots of people hanging out drinking beer and having a good time, sports on but not all TVs in your face like a BWW or whatever. Also like the "two layout" approach with the back bar area being more of a brewery tasting room feel. Sure the music is a touch loud but whatever.

The problem is how can a saison be taken seriously from a place like that (eye roll)

I know that the brewer from Weathered Souls was in town. Met him the other day while at Alesmith. He was hanging out with Mr. Izor at the bar for a bit before heading over to Pure Project to work on a collab with them.

Some basically no-nothing brewery out of San Antonio, TX. I only started hearing of them because of an issue where PureProject went there to do ...something (I can't recall what, but it wasn't a collab) then produced a beer with the same name and same recipe. Basically stealing the recipe and name. I will see if I can find the info on it over on BA.

Edit: OK, found some links and found some screenshots since PP deleted a lot of the back and forth since it was on their FB event page back in Dec. of 2016.

Screenshots are in a thread where PP started apologizing and saying they were reaching out to Marcus from Weathered Souls.

Ohhhhhhhh I remember that now hahaha.

Go to a liquor store and then drink on the street looking at the people of Vegas?
I'm back from the beer wasteland of Vegas

Honestly....who needs cable when you can just read about stupid drama and be entertained?

And arren , how was the lack of power at CES? =P
lol lack of power?

CES was cool. Didn't get to see much stuff, but some companies have some incredible tech coming out. Keep an eye out for Creative Labs - they're about to rise from the ashes of their Soundblaster past and come out with some legit mind-blowing audio equipment.

Holy ****, I remember buying sound cards back in the day. It's been a while.
