Btw ~50 cases of CBS are in San Diego.

I see kingg has a 5 case allocation of 750mL. It's coming to very random places.
From what he told me, I guess B&V is the top seller of Founders in all of San Diego County or something. Not surprised he got so much.

Searching the BevMo site for CBS, and no luck.

But I did learn you can get a keg of FBS from them for $150.

Nice! I’m helping out on the early shift.
Guess I need to lobby a little harder for a hall pass!
Also, tonight

mumbles under breath ... I love having kids, I love having kids ...

Semi related. Can anyone say if bevmo will get the BA Ten-fidy? I remember it being good and would like to revisit.

Is there anywhere in SD that is actually selling CBS starting on Dec 1?!?! Calling around and everyone is like oh we sold that last week.....

Its funny that Founders said on Instagram that nationwide distro would be on Dec 1, but it has come & gone at Bevmo & Whole Foods already. Bottlecraft & kingg have yet to sell it.

Given that there’s ony 50 cases hitting San Diego, I’m irked but not all that shocked that some stores sold anyone this by the case.

I’ve heard it’ll get around on draft (Bottlecraft has a keg, for example), so I wouldn’t be too sad if you miss out on bottles.

I think only the Bevmos and Whole Foods decided to sell early. Bottlecraft is getting their allocation tomorrow, and likely the other regular bottleshops too.

I can't say I am surprised by Bevmos selling early and by the case. Most of the time the beer buyer isn't there so the employees, unless they are a beer nerd, won't really know. As an example, maybe only 4 employees at the Mira Mesa BevMo have a clue about the beer they are selling.

Perhaps, but Bevmo certainly got the memo for BCBS with their 2-3 bottle limit.

Anyway, still some stores around that have no idea what they are selling I guess.

Congratulations! That's a wonderful thing to celebrate.

TY, it was. I went for one beer and stayed for about 4. Bought around 8 full pours from Anvil & Stave, tab was $20. Sent it back and said it was wrong, received new tab of $40. Still not even close, but I was told 3 different employees bought me a beer. I love my "cheers".
