Best Bloody Mary in North Park?
Small bar. Technically University Hights.

Yeah, those were the two best beers. The Hess beer was garbage though. It had almost no aroma, tasted like watered down old coffee. None of us even finished our taster.
So it was a Hess beer?
Seriously.

I don't understand how they're still open. I honestly thought they'd be one of the first breweries to go under. Last time I had their DIPA, it tasted like old Nugget Nectar.

Hmmm, @Alesmith for each grand prix day basically at opening....good times. Single Barrel is almost tapped out, so get it while you can because I doubt it will last through to tomorrow.

QUIT DRINKING IT DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I only had a 3oz this morning, and only about 30oz since Wednesday.

They pulled off Boxcar, no idea why, but it is gone today.

Double barrel tasting better and better. I was also told that they upped the temperature inside Anvil and Stave for the draft lines. Stuff served in main tasting room still around 38 degrees, stuff served inside A&S is now around 45-50.

Finishing up a quick beer at Pure Project(decent ****). Heading to Alesmith now to pick up my DubbulBurrul Speedway...do I really have to say a password at the door for Anvil & Stave? Never gone inside...

Also anyone else there doin Grand Prix?

Password is given at the counter where you are collecting your bottles and you will get a ticket to get inside so they can keep control over the amount of ppl inside. No reason for it to become a clusterfuck for everyone.

As for tickets being needed, typically they let it slide unless they are busy. Since you are going late afternoon friday, I would say better safe than sorry to grab a ticket...especially since you are at the counter already.

Thanks brotha! That Single Barrel is unreal.

Speedway Grand Prix was the best lineup in years, people who just did VIP and slept on the normal laps missed some ******* great beers. All told, had 23 Speedway variants today, grabbed a burrito at Rigoberto's, watched the Gulls get curbstomped, and had a post-game pint of Ice at Modern Times. Damn good Friday.
