Local Stone locations will tapping a pilot batch of my buddy Paul's AHA winning beer (imperial stout with chocolate, strawberry, and mostra coffee in collab with abnormal) on Friday before a country wide release in Sept. Crowler/growler fills allowed.
Any idea why the website doesn't mention the coffee or vanilla? Just an imperial stout with chocolate and strawberry. http://www.stonebrewing.com/shop/growler-fills
 
It's pretty messed up when I see these and automatically think, "I wonder how Stone will **** up this beer this year?"

I figured the same but it did sound like Derek, Mike, and Paul had a lot of input during test batches in order to tweak and use less/more of the various ingredients.
 
Ponce's >>>>>>>> El Comal

Twice I've been to El Comal, twice I've been disappointed.
While I think you're probably a little crazy, I have only been to Ponce's a couple of times and will need to revisit. Maybe within an 8 hour stretch of going to El Comal....with stops at various watering holes conveniently located between the two...
 
We are finally happy to announce the SoCal release dates for Sublime Mexican Lager. Online bottle sale of the 40oz. bottles will be held July 8. Pickup of these bottles will begin the day of the official release party, July 15, here at the brewery. No shipments.
