What subreddit?

Welp, it was beertrade, until reddit shut that down, then they got their own website rbeer.trade but that has since gone the way of the dodo.

I have a few ppl that I remain in contact with from r/beertrade that I still do trades with every so often though. But most of my trading is done via FB locally and then BA/here when going overseas.

Edit: Seems you would need to delve into the depths of FB for trading or else IG (which I don't have, but seems to be decent for setting up trades)

Question.. For people who try to do IP trades here in San Diego, where is the best place to try to get something done? I used to use Reddit. Seems like BA is pretty inactive. I don't have FB, but I suspect that is probably the answer here?

Shamelessly plugging the North Park Beer Co. 3rd Anniversary IPA Festival coming up on June 29th.

We'll be releasing our 3rd Anniversary DDH Mosaic & Strata DIPA "NPBC3" in 16oz cans and on draft. We just dry hopped this beer with over 6lbs per barrel and it smells insane. The beer is 8.5% ABV.

Additionally, we've got beer coming in from Alpine, Alvarado St., Beachwood, Burgeon, Cellarmaker, El Segundo, Fieldwork, Great Change, Great Notion, Green Cheek, Highland Park, Humble Sea, Knee Deep, Mikkeller SD, Modern Times, Moksa, Offshoot, Pure Project, Resident, Russian River, Societe, The Courtyard, Urban Roots plus a few others that we are still working on confirming. With a list this good, we can't wait to see what everyone sends our way!

This year, we're doing a closed ticketed event.
VIP runs from 11am-12pm
GA runs from 12pm-4pm

GA Tickets include unlimited 2oz tasters of all beers on tap, a commemorative glass, commemorative pin, lunch entree of your choice from Mastiff, a voting ticket for your favorite IPA, access to discounted pre-sale t-shirts, and presale 4-packs of NPBC3 DDH DIPA 16oz cans.

VIP Tickets are limited to 75 people and includes everything you get with a GA Ticket, plus 1 hour of early access including a spread of charcuterie and appetizers, an extra voting ticket (2 total) for your favorite IPAs, tastes of archived treats from Kelsey's secret stash, and the opportunity to purchase a 500ml bottle of the extremely limited Bourbon Barrel Aged Macaroons Before Dying a day before the bottles are released to the general public!

If you use the coupon code NPBC_LOVES_TALKBEER, you'll get 10% off your VIP ticket or GA ticket. Click this link here for your convenience:

Looking forward to partying with you!

The small print: Due to our limited number of taps and the logistics of pouring through hundreds of gallons of IPAs before they have passed their prime, we simply couldn't bring in beer from everyone that we would have liked. However, next year we'll be moving the festival outdoors and having a block party IPA fest, which will aim to include as many breweries as we can fit.

Appreciate the discount code, I'd been lagging on grabbing tickets but finally got off my butt and ordered VIP. Looks like it's going to be a killer event, and I'll definitely be showing back up on Sunday for the public BA Macaroons sale. Can't wait!

Probably working Mikkeller on that Saturday, so I'll see you in line on Sunday.

Site's already down? :(

Stopped by Mikkeller today. Damn, the goses and BA wild ales were on point. Super dry, fruity (when fruited -although there weren't any non fruited sours), and not super acidic. Very impressed, will be stopping by more often to drink their sours.
I'll be there tomorrow and next sat night if you want more

I'm opening miramar and we're brewing a collab with creative creature tomorrow. Swing by early and/or I'll cruise through after my shift.

Has anyone tried Napa Parabola? I skipped it without hesitation because wine ba stouts are not my jam, but if it's legit good I'm willing to give it a try.

More oaky than the regular with a wine character that works pretty well with the base. As it warmed I was getting a nice graham cracker flavor. I like it but think it will be better with age when the oak dies down more.
