Check out el comal in north park for a solid breakfast (and lunch/dinner/anytime you need to consume food on a tortilla).

For BiL devotees, toronado tapped fremont’s brew 3k yesterday. Almost as pleasant of a surprise as finding Tyrsis and stawn there last night; anyone make it to disc golf this morning?
It was brew 2000, not 3000 apparently, which is insane.

Went to a very Northern Canada brewery, Norther Pine Brewing, in Oceanside, had a few beers, the pumpkin gose was my favorite. Very light on all the flavors, very summertime. Also, they have BBQ in house, from That Boy Good. Overall nice place to have some BBQ and a quick beer.

Going to my first Gulls game tonight. Anyone have any pro-tips or recommendations? Modern Times pre-game is already in the plans.

Park at MT and get there early since there can be a line. Walk to over to the arena to save money on parking. Hit up MT after the game for coffee and/or beer depending on how much you drink at the arena.

As far as post-game, keep in mind that MT closes at 10 on Wednesdays so last call will be 9:30ish - that's usually about as early as a game is going to end (generally closer to 9:40) so if you stay for the whole game, a post-game drink at MT is out.

If you want to drink at the arena, most of the beer stands are going to be ABInBev brands. Pizza Port has a stand with cans and pizza, although the cans obviously aren't anywhere near the same value as they are when bought at retail.

If you're bringing a kid, you can go down to the glass during warmups and try to get a puck and/or just watch from up close. Warmups are generally something like 6:30 - 6:45 or 6:35 - 6:50.

We scootered from MT to the arena, which given how much imbibing had happened the rest of the day was probably a bad idea. But fun and quick.

Get the poutine at the game.
**** I wish I'd known that before getting chicken fingers from Ruby's.

Thanks for the recs. We actually found a stand that had local beers. Ended up with a Chasing Citra and a Boat Shoes. Both were like $14, but they were on the company dime so no ***** given

I haven't been to a game this year. :( Forgot that Resident has Chasing Citra at the arena now.

Not sure where they canned it the other day but it was certainly not at their brewery. Must have been contract brewed somewhere (which isn't a bad thing if the Resident brewers are involved).

Brewed at Coronado. (Thanks Ken)

I can't believe how long the keg of Brew 3000 has lasted at Toro. Do people not know about it? Do they not care? I'm certainly not complaining, but it's fascinating to see some of the things that don't drive hype.
So I'm going to Toro as well as npbc after bottle logic on sat

Just don’t talk about it and let folks order Pliny and Burgeon haze
