Seems like the article keeps changing. New press release seemed to clear it up.

"the restaurant itself is being rebranded to the new Owl Drug Co. Social Eating House concept, while the on-site brewery will continue to operate under the name The Bell Marker with its current brewing team intact."

Went to The Bell Marker every so often. $4 happy hour pints, while the beers weren't amazing they were decent and a few blocks away from my office.

Would try and grab a beer for happy hour at Resident and couldn't find one seat open at times. Love the beers just don't want to feel like its a saturday night to grab a beer after work.

I would think the beers at the Bell Marker would be much improved since opening with Nacho having plenty of time to get things dialed in.

In cart, gateway error, then sold out. At least I didn’t have to buy some garbage beer to get over $25.

I enjoy the ones where they complain about getting the email late. I sit here constantly amazed that in today's world...ppl still don't know how the internet works and all the factors that go into an email being sent and then received. But then I look on Instagram a bit more and realize that the world is ******* in a huge state of mental decline, so it now makes sense.

Yep, lots of complaints that would've been avoided had people thought things through a bit more:
1) Make sure you have an existing account on B&V's webshop (with your CC saved if you're going for max speed).
2) Have another beer sitting in your cart to put you over the $25 minimum before the sale starts.
3) Ignore email, use the search function to locate the beer as soon as it goes live.

Oh well, I got mine.

I saw them posted in some places in orange county and San Diego wine co. It's crazy. Makes me so happy. I love seeing lambic on the shelves and 3f is some of my favorite. Hoping for somewhere up here in Canada, or a trip to bine and vine the next couple days will help with Magnums and hommage.

At the time of this posting, San Diego Wine & Beer Co has 3 mags of 3F OG left, and 2 bottles of Hommage left. (70 for the mag, 60 for the Hommage).

Yep, half of my wish list has been fulfilled. I feel so spoiled. Even outside lambic, the amount of excellent beer that is available and being made in San Diego/Canada is insane. Plus eppig is moving up here, which puts that not to far pizza port and rip current. Lagers, IPAs, and Lambic. Life is good.

Bummer to hear about Benchmark having to temporarily close due to ABC license issues.
