Has Salted Nutroll been done before? If not, what took them so long to do that? Brewers love their nutrolls...

I don't have it in my untapped checkins, but I also didn't have the cucumber one from the obrien's event all those years ago. Might have been towards the end where I was in no way able to use electronics.

Looks like we are getting drops of 3F Framboos and Golden Blend. SD Wine & Beer Co posted they got it in today. Don't spend your time, I grabbed the last set. But they do have a large amount of 750 AG, 375 AG/OG/Kriek on the floor.

Prices weren't exactly nice though (just a bit over half of secondary on each):
60 - 750 Framboos '17
55 - 750 Golden Blend '17

I have paid more for onsite consumption of Framboos so I bit the bullet. But these might pop up in Bottlecrafts too if you are looking.

Haha
pugsandsuds i bet you were the first purchaser right? :p
Also reading the "fine print" says pickup window is until the 18th, but further down says bottles not picked up before the end of the year are forfeited. So which is the actual window??

I would guess the actual window is a week, which would be in line with how they typically do it.

Yes I'm sure they want a pickup window of one week, I just enjoy pointing out proof read errors that occur rather frequently in these online sales.

Word. Drives me crazy too. Nobody value's communication any more, just blast it out there and fix it later if needed.

On a note related to lambic.
I never saw any of the Pinot noir or Pinot Gris tilquin down here. Have you?

60 for framboos out of a bottle shop. yikers. Every time I see stuff like that I just remind myself that I will eventually get to belgium and import my own stuff instead of dealing with these yahoos

Anyone going to Collabapalooza this year? Anyone go last year and have a report on it? Last year it conflicted with Woodshop and the Stone AHA rally but I'm curious about going to it this year.

I only made it to Collabapalooza for like an hour last year because we hosted Woodshop. Man, what a rad fest! How often do you actually see the brewers at festivals anymore? Everyone was there. Very stoked to not have a scheduling conflict this year so that I can go hang out at this event. We'll be pouring "Dead and Gone" a West Coast IPA collab with Burgeon featuring Simcoe & El Dorado dry hops as well as "Park Park" a Nelson-Vic Secret-Citra Hazy IPA brewed in collab with Highland Park. Port OB will be pouring our collab brewed at Port called "Hipsters & Hippies" a dry west coast Hazy IPA with Citra, Pacific Jade, and Amarillo.

I have not. I was told it would have been here in early September but never saw a bottleshop post they had it. I guess I should have gone to Tilquin instead of sitting on the benches at OpenBeerDays. c'est la vie. =P

Belgium is quite enjoyable. I had a fantastic time. My issue is that the beer was damn delicious and despite going to OBD all three days I only bought one of the sets for myself. So I only got 1 bottle of framboos in it. Secondary has been 100-120, so even though the 60 was a hard pill to swallow I know those I end up sharing it with will like it.

RCNP + NPBC today, probably stop into Toronado and see what's going on. PPOB on Sunday for their coffee beer event. NPBC Tuesday for their bottle release (and MT League Preview followed by Suffocation/Cattle Decap/Krisiun in the evening). Speedway Grand Prix and possibly BLAH for Great Notion on Friday.

Nothing really crazy, too much good beer year-round to get worked up about chasing stuff at shitshow events.
