Hate to be that guy, just don't quite hate it enough to not be that guy in this instance, if anyone is going to pickup tickets for the Mostra anniversary in person on 11/10 and wants to pick one up for me I'll bring a few Highland Park Brewery goodies down with your name on it.

is anyone going early to get tickets in person on Saturday? There are only 300 VIP tickets.... maybe ticket sales will be a total cluster..... don't have a great sense for the local demand for $165 tickets to a beer party.

i didn't see the cost of the regular ticket on their IG, does anyone know?

GA is $75. I have no idea what the demand is. I don't want to stand in line but I think I will. I have no idea what time to be there, especially since you can get as many VIP Tix as you want and they allocated (?) out of 300 tickets to online sales.

I really hope the first person in line buys them all then turns around and sells them for profit to everyone else in line. Teach Mostra a lesson.

My sense is that demand is going to be pretty high as it's not just a local draw, it's regional at least (OC and possibly LA), and I think there are a hell of a lot more than 300 people willing to throw down the cash.

Unless you're plugged in really well with one of the bigger sharing groups, the timing is a crapshoot. I myself am not that plugged in - nor am I going to **** around with standing in line for a ticket, tempting as the taplist is - but I've heard various groups discussing both timing on showing up, as well as the strategy of what they're telling people vs. what they actually plan to do for the sake of trying to dissuade others from showing up too early.

My honest view is that if I was going to bite the bullet, I'd go really ******* early (like 1 AM early) to ensure I actually get a ticket. If you want a ticket badly enough to deal with it, spending an extra couple hours in line seems far less frustrating than getting your ass out of bed at 3 AM and discovering a parking lot full of camping chairs.

There's also the problem that you have no idea exactly how many tickets each person will buy. I seriously want to know their reasoning behind no limits. That's going to end up in a riot lol.

I have really been trying to figure out if I wanted to go for VIP. I was thinking 2 AM initially, I think you are correct on the 1AM time slot. I am sure they will drop the limits on how many VIP tickets you can buy soon.

I actually was a little disappointed compared to previous years. Guess that's the nature of events like this though, where the beers are meant to be total one-off experiments. Can't all be winners.
Also keep in mind I'm an old stay at home dad that doesn't get out much. I did laps one, three, and VIP. Out of those there were two that I would want to see in a bottle. More just hanging with a friend and being away for a bit.
Yaass pugsandsuds we better be the first customers!!

You're saying they will have a limit instead of the no limit they already announced?

There is now a limit in place according to the Instagram. Which is nice adjustment as they have heard about how many people are excited for the party. I totally see where they are coming from with no limit then realizing the demand and setting a limit. Everything about the event sounds fun and delicious.

Side note, talkcoffee, the BA Sinners Blend coffee beans are amazing. Some of the best coffee I've ever had.
