Aero Club gotta move. Was never a regular haunt being most my friends didn't like sipping whiskey but for a few visitors this was always a stop after the airport, before the brew scene exploded.

West Coaster mentioned it roughly two weeks ago, with "later this year" the outlook provided.

Also "much later this year" per West Coaster. No idea what the source of delays on this is but I drive past it regularly and the construction of the building has been progressing.

Tap Room Brewing is looking at the end of the year at the earliest last I spoke with Kyle about it. Initial construction was very slow to get going. I'll get an update next time I play golf with him.

Much appreciated. I have hit the pinnacle in my beer life, and it only took me 13yrs and borderline alcoholism a few years ago when I was searching for a new job. I have no where to go but down. I am also glad the beer is good, man, how funny would it have been if it ended up being infected? Haha

A non-Xul like review: It is a solid speedway variant with a vanilla presence from start to finish but never overpowering like a pastry stout. It keeps the base beer in the spotlight. Once it warms up though, it tastes like vanilla bourbon. No heat though, just enjoyable and smooth.

So I am happy. Public can get it on draft this weekend, then it goes back to member only access. Members got 2 bottles included, could buy 2 more and wish for up to 2 more (likely won't get fulfilled since I saw ppl try it and then bust out their phones to buy their extra 2). Members can also get growler fills of it.

Festival goes from 11am to 6pm. VIP Session on the Mezzanine from 11am-1pm is currently sold out! General Admission tickets are available at the door for $10 which includes a commemorative glass, pin, 1 taster ticket, and 1 vote for the people's choice award. Additional taster tickets are available for $3ea or 4 for $11. Mezzanine opens to General Admission at 1pm. Votingn ends at 3pm, winners will be announced at 4pm. Taster token sales end at 5:30pm. Full pours of remaining beers on tap at the downstairs bar will be available beginning at 6pm.
