Lol, went around today trying to find the best of SD to thank a trustee. I drank a lot of crap, but Second Chance was a unquestionable highlight today. Always joked about giving them a second chance, but now I realize that was a ****** joke. They are really good!

Nothing from them ever stuck out for me, any specific beers you can remember? Might need to hit up their NP tasting room.

That Pizza Port beer feels like

Everything I tried was good, but I enjoyed Tabula Rasa & Legally Red the best. Also liked Coco Rasa, Festa Imperiale, & Take Two.

I can not believe there’s this much awesome beer in such a short walking distance on a single street. 30th street is still the undisputed king.

Coming down to SD this weekend for Lost Abbey S&S pickup and party (because I'm living in 2012) - is there anywhere that's opened in the last year or so worth checking out, or should I just hit up the old favorite spots and that decent-looking list at Modern Times?

Eppig for sure. Resident might still have bottles of Saison Prestige available too, which is probably worth the pain of being in downtown.

Confirmed they do still have bottles. The traffic decision...that's a tough one. The Local will be a fun place to have a beer watch some of the CFP championship though!

Is football on the TV and house audio really an attraction at breweries that are selling mixed fermentation saison these days? Seems a little strange to me.

How can you possibly Share. Consider. Enjoy... while there is ambient noise?
Shaun Hill probably loves obscure winter Olympic events. Why the **** is skiing and shooting a combined event? I’m sure he could provide a diatribe on the biathlon and then explain how Lithuania’s underdog participant should at least be able to claim a bronze this year.
