A few of my favorite things
1. Tackle Hugs
2. Being Outside
3. Guacamole
4. Off Roading (the bike kind)
5. Camping (but mostly I hate tents).
6. Dogs
7. Tyrsis hating on things.
Both you and Tyrsis need to shut your hoar mouths.Because of #3, we can no longer drink beers together. Most of the rest I would agree with though.
I take it you also like guacamole and camping?<--- been a Disneyland AP holder for four years now, recently upgraded to the next tier
<--- went to the parks four times this year already
<--- have fun every single time
**** all you haters

I can only stand avocado on sushi / poke. But I don't want it making my steaming hot, deliciously greasy carne asada burrito COLD and SOGGY. Gross.I only ever claim to be smart in my job and my gaming....everything aside from that is entirely up in the air.
But seriously, I keep trying it and just...bleh each time. Tacos/burritos/nachos/different meats/chips I just can't. Same can be said with sushi, although I will eat Uni and those philadelphia rolls.
Sushi is ******* disgusting.I can only stand avocado on sushi / poke. But I don't want it making my steaming hot, deliciously greasy carne asada burrito COLD and SOGGY. Gross.
It's just fish, man.Sushi is ******* disgusting.
Fish needs fire. Or has sushi evolved to not only raw? It's just fish, man.
When is the last time you've actually had sashimi or poke?Fish needs fire. Or has sushi evolved to not only raw?
I feel like Hillcrest - maybe 8 years ago? Forget the name of the restaurant but VERY close to the 15.When is the last time you've actually had sashimi or poke?
Definitely some **** I don't get down with (tripe, chicken feet, ugh) but having asian in-laws has definitely made me more adventurous. Go and try tuna poke again. Not salmon, not albacore - get ahi. Super mild, absolutely no fishiness.I feel like Hillcrest - maybe 8 years ago? Forget the name of the restaurant but VERY close to the 15.
Also scarred for life from Dim Sum year 1999. FIL ( now, GF's dad then ) made sure tripe, chicken feet, "blood jello cubes" et al came. He had a good time. Now I am extremely careful around Asian food.
Will do. If I bring it up the wife will:Definitely some **** I don't get down with (tripe, chicken feet, ugh) but having asian in-laws has definitely made me more adventurous. Go and try tuna poke again. Not salmon, not albacore - get ahi. Super mild, absolutely no fishiness.

Tex BBQ doesn't make up for lack of CA Mexi?I do miss CA Mexi food. Nothing like a breakfast burrito. This was our goto walking distance joint:
La Mesita Mexican Food

Pretty damn good. I like the TexMex here but haven't found a legit Mexi joint.

It's good, but on the expensive side. Ive been to 2 of the top rated joints in town and enjoyed them both a lot. We have a lot of Mexican restaurants but they just don't do a burrito right. My favorite texmex doesn't agree with the wife so we don't dine there much. And in thinking about that, she's gone Friday so I better stuff my face silly.Tex BBQ doesn't make up for lack of CA Mexi?
