I like the glass more than the beer. I really enjoy their other offerings, but the aspects that I like most in an imperial stout are lacking here.

Definitely not worth $31. Was this barrel aged, new oak or whiskey? if it was It did not come through. I enjoyed it but I'd prefer BA speedway at basically the same price and maybe even big bad baptist at half that.

Doesn't surprise me. The last Eclipse I bought was the Elijah Craig 18 or 20 year, (can't remember--white wax) a few years ago. Probably will be the last; too many comparable and/or better BA stouts I'd rather spend my money on and most of them are much more affordable. I'd take Big Bad Baptist over any Eclipse; factor in the price difference I'd take two Big Bad Baptists...
