I was bracing to have the enamel ripped off my teeth but this one is surprisingly mellow. This is the first batch, best I can tell, as i got it in 2009. It tastes absolutely amazing. Tastes more like a blackberry then any cassis I've but definitely different. This Hanssens glass is a great oldie too. Circa 1960-70. ‪#‎proper‬

I really dont know if my tastes have changed that much or if I continue to become a bigger unappreciative ******** with every passing season. Since Troegs has moved to Hershey, about the only beer that improved was Dreamweaver. Nugget nectar is hit and miss with some batches being terrible but none of them bright, fruity and citrusy like I remember buying case after case and keg after keg of.

Sunshine pils was always that crushable springtime beer we never gave accolade to but it was very much deserving of it. Im ashamed to even have a proper glass for this. What a buttery, dirty foot mess this batch is.

Damnit, now I have a craving. Love that beer so hard. So many sad feels when Durham/Chapel Hill was already out of that beer during my recent visit. Beautiful glass, too. Cheers, RandallPinkFloyd!
