Looks like I'll be in Columbus for a week later this month for work, anybody have tips on places to check out?

Coming back out again for work soon, any new additions to the scene in the last year or two? Going to be in the Easton area again.

Slowly but surely, we've been releasing our debut of sour beers from our Wild Heritage Series! The next entry will be Red Legacy, our Flander's-Style red ale that has been aging in oak barrels for 16 months. Red Legacy is a complex and malty beer, with acidic, tart notes that are classic to this historic style. Alongside Red Legacy, we will also have limited bottles of our espresso milk stout, Night Method and Clear Sky Lemon Meringue available. Currently we will be setting bottle allotments at 3 per person, but this is subject to change closer to the release.

Expect a killer draft list with 20 taps and a few special casks, as well as a full food menu! Doors will open at 10:00 am, and the sale will begin at 11:00 am first come, first serve.

Stay tuned for more details on the draft list!

Rhinegeist for sure. I also dug Urban Artifact, 16-bit, and The Eagle when I was there last year, but I don't know if those are still considered places worth visiting.

Wolfs Ridge is a definite stop. WR, Platform, Hoof Hearted, and Seventh Son are all within a mile or two on 4th street. Jackie O’s recently had an event over the weekend at the Market District in Grandview (really close to campus) and should have a bunch of good stuff left. Local Cantina in grandview looks to have a bunch of Jackie O’s as well like Black Maple.

As far as places open on Monday, Daily Growlers are all open on Monday. Three locations, two that aren’t super far from campus. Usually have a nice mix of beers.

This is the German village location. if you have free time, you should check out the neighborhood surrounding it as well. It’s got a great vibe and some really awesome houses. On High street (same street as OSU) on the other side of downtown.
