Came across an hour long podcast interview with Matt: http://steveraboin.com/crazy-creative-podcast-14-matt-westfall/

Not too much in the way of info about upcoming things at the brewery, though he said they have about 30 barrels filled with various things aging at the moment and he's hoping for Elm City to return when the new brewhouse is up and running. Also he mentioned a homebrew by Matt Weichner with French saison yeast and citra and simcoe that sounds awesome.

NEBCO just posted on Faceblah that they're selling 4pks of GBot at the brewery today. "1 case limit per person, 10 per 4 pk, 60 per case. 208 cases available." Hope it lasts until 6 when my mule can get there for me!

Saw a photo of the line from 3ish, wrapped down the side of the parking lot... I'm also shooting for 6, but I don't like my chances of cases still being there.

It's prob 100 deep right now. No separate can line this release.

They did say that there will be two more releases, just no dates as of yet. If they did it on a Saturday it would sell out in 20 minutes

I had no intention of stopping there this afternoon and was almost going to leave without any growlers since I actively asked myself if there was anything they could put on that would get me to head over. Decided that I'd had that thought before, not brought growlers, and wound up regretting my decision. Put growlers in the car and am now happy that I wasn't an idiot this time around.

Local Kitchen in Fairfield has a pretty solid NEBCO tap takeover tonight

localbeerbarNew England Brewing is taking over our taps for Pint Night tonight! We're tapping their Sea Hag, Fat-ten-er 8 (Equinox IPA), Galaxy Pale Ale, Weiss Trash Culture, Gandhi-Bot & Locust Reign. Get $1 off any of their beers on draught & keep the pint glass.
Tag a friend who loves craft beer!

The fun starts at 6pm.

I'll be there around 8

If any of you guys are looking for 12 bottle shippers I have a bunch I'm getting ready to throw out. I'm like 8-10m from NEBCO if anyone wants to come grab a few.

Anyone try the new Nelson Fat Ten-er? Apparently it's the exact same recipe as Galaxy, except Nelson is used instead of Galaxy. I absolutely loved the last Nelson Pale they made (Fat Ten-er #17), so I hope this one comes close.
I tried it this weekend and was a really big fan. I thought the Nelson here seemed reminiscent of some of the danker batches of Coriolis, and it might already be my favorite non-IPA from the series.

As everyone who has ever had even a slight conversation with me about beer knows, I'm not always the biggest Nelson Sauvin fan, but I still think 24 is among the best of the ten-er series. It's crazily good. Solid berry flavors and smaller hints of some of Nelson's more pungent characteristics. I intend to drink a bunch of it.

I'll be there today and wouldn't mind grabbing a few, if they'res till available.

Really bizarre for a brewery of this size to only be able to offer their customers one type of beer for several days.
