It kicked at roughly 5:40 while I was waiting in line. I did get a sample before that occurred so I wasn't too heartbroken.

Going to bang that really hard.
No you won't. Will sell out. One day.

What's on tap?...for samples?...and growler sales?...oh, and make it scary.
Um, okay.

- Gandhi-Bot
- Elm City Pilsner
- Fat Ten-er #11 (an IPA with Amarillo, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops).
- and back from the grave, just in time for Hallowen, crawling up out of the earth to scare the the livin' Buh-jeezus outta your tastebuds and livers...Fat Ten-er #2 (a DIPA with Citra and Galaxy hops).

SpoooOOOoooky!

Hoping to sneak in right around closing tonight for 2 and 11 (assuming #2 doesn't bring out a stupid crowd).

I'll be there on my way home from work around 5:30. I will not be surprised if I'm still be in line when you arrive at closing. Maybe we'll get lucky and it won't be a madhouse, but I see no way that it's not at least a little busy.

I am foolishly holding out hope that the line decreases ever so slightly by the time I get there in an hour.

I remember being shocked at the wait for #2 the first time it came out. That line took about 45 minutes and was the first time I'd ever waited more than 10 minutes to get fills at NEBCO.

That Wednesday before last Thanksgiving was the worst wait I ever had at the old place; I think they had Fat #3 on that day? It's now been matched /exceeded a bunch of times at the new location

Also foolishly hoping for a shorter line whenever the heck I can navigate traffic to get there.

Things actually wound up moving really well despite a long line. I was probably around 40 or so people back when I arrived at 5:20 and it took just over an hour to get my fills. The growler/style limits have really helped them speed things up and they were chewing through the line today.

I would have happily waited way longer for #2. This batch is crazy good. It's been too long for me to reasonably compare it to the previous batches, but this is undoubtedly among my favorite NEBCO beers ever made.

Remember mosying in on a Saturday and just plopping down at the bar with no one else in there but you? I miss Selden St. :(

What is it about this new location that has begun to attract so many more people? Is it just coincidence? It really does feel like starting with day 1 in this new location the amount of interest NEBCO has attracted has just absolutely exploded. I think the longest I ever waited at the old location was maybe a little over an hour for #2 (#3?) that day before Thanksgiving.
