Yep, I'll be making my usual Wednesday stop in today to check out #10. I'll be interested to see what it's like since I sometimes think that Nelson can be overpowering in milder beers.

Tasted like pear when I had it
Is that a good thing? I was never a huge Nelson fan...too much of a white wine flavor
Yep, still tastes a whole lot like pear and not much like you'd expect out of a Nelson beer. I liked it a whole lot.
Today for growler fills we've got fat-10-er 9, fat-10-er 10, Gandhi bot, elm city pilsner, 668 and our new fest bier.
Went down this afternoon and really enjoyed the fest bier. Not typically a style I seek out but I'll definitely be drinking this in Sunday.Fest bier added for today
I always kind of laugh at those who have silly expectations from the brewery, but I kind of hope that this guy was talking out of his ass entirely or did something to precipitate being misled if they did so. Otherwise, that seems a little mean spirited. I'll always defend NEBCO when it comes to some of the dumber things said by people on their Facebook and the reactions to some of their sarcasm, but outright telling someone something that's not true is a bit different. Some guy that thinks he knows EVERYTHING about craft beer just came into the liquor store I work a few nights at. Told me hes going down to NEBCO tomorrow because he called and asked if they had fuzzy baby ducks on tap for growlers and they said "yeah bring a growler and come fill it up", then he asked if they had 6 packs of gandhi bot and they told him "yep well sell em to you right out of the brewery." I laughed at him and told him that theyre ******* with him and he started yelling at me saying I didnt know ****. F that guy, im glad hes driving an hour there to have them laugh at him when he asks for those two things.
I told the guy they say that stuff to people all the time on the phone and to not take them serious...he wouldnt have any of that and said that they wouldnt do that and that I was the idiot. As much as I wanted to feel bad, this is the type of guy who walks and talks like his **** dont stink. Hey, I tried but he wouldnt listen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I always kind of laugh at those who have silly expectations from the brewery, but I kind of hope that this guy was talking out of his ass entirely or did something to precipitate being misled if they did so. Well this is awkward, I would have introduced myself. Some guy that thinks he knows EVERYTHING about craft beer just came into the liquor store I work a few nights at. Flowing from the taps today for your growlering pleasure:
Ghost Pigeon Porter
Fat Ten-er #10
Sea Hag IPA
Elm City Pilsner
Schnitsengiggles Fest Beir
Galaxy Pale Ale
#2 had Citra right? On twitter they noted that not only is Locust coming back soon but also Fat-ten-er #2. At first I assumed that was a typo, but since the next Fat-ten-er would be #11 it seems unlikely that it's a mistake.
Oh, damn. Need to get that (FT #2) this time, I missed it last time.
Also, I went to NEBCO on Saturday - first time I've ever been shut out of beer there (although I guess it was personal choice). Showed up at 2 and the growler line had to be over an hour long (and I had to be somewhere at 3...) Is that normal now on Saturdays? Man...
I haven't been there on many Saturdays recently, but a few weeks back (Black Hog opening day) the line was out the door around 3ish. I didn't get out of there until after 4. But I think they had both Coriolis and Gandhi on.Oh, damn. Need to get that (FT #2) this time, I missed it last time.

Weeknights between 6:30-7 seem to be pretty low key, but can still take a little time to get through if it's only Craig there (when he has to do fills, change kegs, give samples, work the register solo).
I was there om Saturday a few minutes after they "closed", and line was like 5 people.Oh, damn. Need to get that (FT #2) this time, I missed it last time.
