@NewEnglandBrew: Adding Gold Stock for growlers this afternoon. A 6.5% pale beer dry hopped with 4 noble hop varieties and conditioned with oak chips.
This made my afternoon commute home much more complicated. Will be in new london for a client, so I am going to hit Beer'd for 5, but now I need to trek across the state and hopefully get to NEBCO before 7. First world problems....

I know those "hopefully get to NEBCO before 7" feels, since I pass them everyday on my long, traffic-filled commute. A lot easier to stop in now that they stay open until 7, instead of 6. My favorite part of their move.

They have a pretty full tap line up today. Gandhi, 668, Pils, Saison, Coriolis, and Gold Stock.

Line was out the door already at 4:30. Pretty big bummer, I just had to turn around and go home. Hopefully I have better luck tomorrow.

Dammit. Really hope that's for Coriolis and people ignore Gold Stock as usual. If I don't get any of this years I am going to be upset

I've still never tried this :( Anyone wanna goandpickmeupagrowler? Will provide cash, zj, xj, and beer!!!:rolleyes:

Gold stock? 32/64 oz? Could ship Monday or something since we live so far apart

I could also drive it up to davey101 next Sunday on my way back to skip shipping if you're around next weekend for me to grab it. We had talked about doing a bourbon exchange at some point. But that's a while for the growler to sit.

The line was out the door as soon as they opened at 3. Is it usually like that on Fridays now? I don't think they announced Coriolis and Gold Stock only went out as a tweet, so I was surprised to see a decent line before they opened. I try to do my stops on Wednesdays or Thursdays, which haven't been bad.

I really hope the NEBCO guys are able to figure out a way to reduce the amount of waiting that's going on these days. If anything more special than Ghandi Bot gets tapped it's basically a complete **** show. It seems like they have all this room thats going underutilized. Another permanent fill station, maybe?

At this point, it's almost a foregone conclusion that if they release something special and I'm not willing to wait in a line for over an hour, I'm not going to get anything, which is a serious drag.

Anyone know how the lines are on this fine Saturday afternoon ?
Also hoping for shorter lines, less than half an hour would be nice. (but that might be wishful thinking today)

Figuring out something to speed up the lines would be nice, I think there were like 10 people in front of me and it took ~1hr 15 minutes to get some fills. The free samples are great but they may be one of the problems, they definitely slow down the line when a lot of the people are getting 3+ each and they're constantly stopping grower fills to fill samples. More taps and one or two more people working there when something besides hag, bot, 668 and elm are on is probably the answer if they're gonna keep the samples. Limiting total # of fills for each trip through the line like HF does could also work but most people weren't filling more than 4 growlers anyway.

Guh! Knew I should've brought my glass to work with me. Would've made the lunchtime jaunt.
