Looks like the FBD can release round 2 is going exactly as I expected. Apprx. 250 people in line right now. Cards handed out. They aren't opening early. Brutal.

Brutal is the people who just showed up after 5 with their kids. Gonna be a fun 2 hours for them.

Still handing out tickets to anyone who shows up. Line is long.

Anybody have any idea what the crowd is like on Saturday afternoons? Long wait for growlers? Separate lines for cans and bottles? Considering stopping on my way home from Boston tomorrow, but don't have time for big lines.

I'd assume it will be pretty mellow. There might be a lot of people, but they're petty quick for growler fills now. For cans, I assume they'll only have Elm City Pilsner (if any).

You can also consider stopping at Counter Weight (old NEBCO brewer runs it). No growler fills, but they'll probably have cans of their new Citra/Galaxy IPA. Full pours vs NEBCO's free samples though.

We are kicking off the warmer weather right and releasing a bunch of your favorite cans old and new.
Saturday 6/10: WEISS TRASH CULTURE Berliner Weisse, 250+ cases
Tuesday 6/13: FUZZY BABY DUCKS IPA, 600+ cases
Wednesday 6/14: SPIN CYCLE Citra and Mosaic IPA, 300+ cases
Thursday 6/15: ELM CITY PILSNER, 70+ cases
Friday 6/23: CORIOLIS DIPA, 300+ cases

More details to come...

Oh, ****.

Weiss Trashberry (raspberry WTC) on today. Really tasty. Not sure if its going to be on-site pours only, or growler fills as well - but either way, worth checking out.

Does anyone know if the Gandhi-Bot glass currently being sold in the taproom have the same design as the last run of them? It looks like batch 2 on today's Instagram but the website sort of makes it look like the same design of batch 2 but with a bigger Gandhi head like batch 1.

I also just love that they're selling Gandhi glasses of any kind again, especially after seeing the hysteria the supposedly final run caused a couple of years.

Its the same as the last batch. Smaller head, red details around it, verses just the yellow in the original.

Edit: the website does make it look like a larger graphic. Its that graphic, but smaller, like the last run.

Drinking an hour old can out of the OG glass now...

Onsite consumption? That's what I want to do, dome a Redrum and hop on the Merritt.
You could always share a bottle with someone else... I get off work at around 4:30 most days...

we have very limited amounts of all these vintage bottles. Onsite is the only way that makes sense to sell them, or they would be gone in 5 minutes.

True enough

Very tempting, I've never had any of those.
