Oh well. I'm actually with Orfy on this one. I have no objections with the online friends thing, but don't understand the motivation. Well, ok, there was that slight warm fuzzy feeling when I saw I had been added as a friend. Is that it, or is there in fact some other benefit? (friends with benefits?)

It looks like lots of the BrewSpace features are slowly unfolding. I created an event and added my club yesterday and now they're both gone. Looks like I'm still a member of the SoCal Brewers, which I joined at the same time.

Yeah I think we're breaking new ground here...and tx sent out a press release, so we should see more and more homebrewers coming in...(oh great more n00bs wondering if their beer is infected....*sigh*)
