Report back from Comerica...curious if there's anything going on. I hear there's new food, but haven't heard anything about more/different beer options. I'm usually happy to find a cold Two Hearted or Oberon to take into the stands.

Please do not come into Holiday before the official post.
I love that Holiday is starting to use FB to drive the hype a little more. There was an early morning post regarding 3F today, and another with the picture of the line early in the morning for the Schramm's release recently.

Given that KBS disappeared off of most Detroit shelves pretty quickly but seems to be turding it up in the rest of the world, it's cool that Founders put a bunch up for sale at the Detroit pub. I won't grab it, but I'm sure plenty of others will.

Had it on tap in Vegas. Pleasantly surprised to find it. But lots of **** turds up Vegas because Vegas.

Hoppin' Frog comes to Michigan. Always enjoyed their stouts, but they want $8 for 12oz of BA Boris.

Yeah, **** right off with that.

Detroit at least; we still haven't seen them in Grand Rapids. Certainly wouldn't be the first time we're missing something you guys get (see: The Bruery at its MI launch and once again, Allagash before they left MI).

Is there something about Old Nation that I'm missing? I mean, I tend to dislike all the hazy **** anyway, but their stuff is just repulsive. There's clearly flour in Boss Tweed and everything has this awful sour aftertaste that I just find repulsive.

And Cart Horse isn't anywhere near what Boxer was. Not sure how they ruined their best beer, but they did.

AFAIK it’s flaked oat, not milled flour. Went to undergrad with one of the brewers (not the head brewer).

As for the sour aftertaste, I didn’t notice anything like that when I was there about a month ago. I had the Vienna Lager, though it was before they put out Tart Strawberry M-43. Maybe that introduced something to their system?

I really enjoyed their non-hazy beers.

Have some family headed up to the Ann Arbor/Troy/Royal Oak area this weekend. Was hoping they might be able to find some of the newer Old Nation items... greenstone/full earth and the old stand by M43

Any insights on where to look in the area for some fresh tins?

Holiday Market in RO
8 Degrees Plato in Ferndale

M43 will be literally everywhere.
